Pumpkin Carving

Every year we carve pumpkins with the kids and then roast the pumpkin seeds. Each kid picks out a design. Chris opens the pumpkin and the kiddos dig out the goo. They separate the seeds into their own pan. Sarah poured her pan into her lap this year. Fun. Chris spent an hour sawing the picture on the pumpkin with Cody asking "Are you done yet Daaaaaad?" every 5 minutes. Chris didn't finish before bedtime so we brought the lighted pumpkin into Cody's room so he could check it out. He said "Coooooool." We didn't take it to Sarah for fear of scaring. I forgot to take a picture of the finished pumpkin. It was covered with ants this morning. Chris said to spray it with bug killer. I'm worried about burning down the front bushes with pesticide flames. Men!

Ewwww! Cody is very tactile and gets grossed out easily.

Sarah's a little worried about what's in there.

Daddy's giving me crap with his expression because I took several good pictures but the card wasn't in the camera because he took it out and didn't put it back.
