Sarah's 1st Birthday

Sarah's first birthday was fun, for ME! I made her pink strawberry cupcakes and chocolate cupcakes, she had a pink sparkly birthday crown, several outfits to wear for the day, pink balloons, pink streamers, a 1st birthday banner and much more. She seemed to have fun too which is nice since it was all for her. She was unsure of the frosting. She make a face as if to say, what in the world is this and should I be eating it. She liked the strawberries though. She didn't like having frosting all over her hands. She was a pro at ripping the wrapping paper (I have to keep her away from books and important documents) and was truly excited about all her gifts. Here are some pictures from the day:

Her little cake is made for destruction. She didn't eat it, but everyone else did.



Here she is concentrating on getting to the piano. She loves this toy. It has a microphone, Cody and her fight over it. She is in her third birthday outfit for the day.


Happy birthday baby... she's growing so fast. I'm sure you understand the combination of angst and joy that a mother feels watching her young ones grow up.
