I dropped him and Chris off at camp on Friday. As I drove away from duck camp he had a huge smile on his face and was waving. I wanted to cry because he looked like such a big kid and not my puggy little dark eyed beauty. The excitement and happiness in his eyes told me he was where he wanted to be completely so I took a deep breath and drove on, but not before I texted Chris one last instruction...take lots of pictures. He sent me pics the whole day, night and following morning.
It was Cody's first activity that didn't include me. That's hard for a mom. Plus he came home smelling like fried bacon, ugh!

Oh bless you Momma! I can feel your pain way over here. Good for you for letting go and good for Cody on surviving a boy weekend. He does look like he's having fun!
